A large commercial facility marked by a red Ferris wheel

The iconic Ferris wheel in Umeda, Osaka.

In connection with the cylinder replacement work, our company was responsible for assembling and dismantling the scaffolding.

The incident occurred on the roof of a commercial facility.

Temporary materials were delivered at night from limited routes, and the work was carried out in high places and in narrow spaces from start to finish. Particularly difficult were the complex space truss supporting the Ferris wheel and the glass surface of the curtain wall right next to it. Careful work was required in a situation where even a scratch on the glass was not allowed.

The complex structure, spatial constraints, and time restrictions all dictated the project's coordination skills and close cooperation between the craftsmen on-site. It was a job for which we were proud to contribute our solid skills to the construction of a city landmark.
