Between December 2007 and February 2014, large-scale improvement work was carried out to strengthen the transport infrastructure, including the addition of one platform and a siding to the west of the station.
This project was an advanced site that required work to be carried out within limited time and space so as not to affect train operations.
There was a demand for a scaffolding system that would achieve high levels of safety, workability, and mobility.
The highly functional mobile scaffolding that was adopted was the "Perfect Method" developed by FTK Engineering.

A major feature is that it can be smoothly moved to a different position as the process progresses while still maintaining the height required for working at height.
Mobile scaffolding, which minimizes loss of work time, is particularly effective in railway construction like this one, which mainly involves night-time work and short periods of work.
In addition, the highly safe structure requires little effort in assembly and disassembly, which also contributes to reducing the burden on workers.
This project has achieved more than 201,000 accident-free working hours since construction began, which is the result of close cooperation with all the companies involved and a site management system that prioritizes safety.
